1959 ford zodiac mk2

sbf 302ci mustang engine and gearbox fitted, 5 litre V8 in english!

solid alloy strip wheels, lowered front, volvo 245 rear axle

bench front and rear seats which seat 6, smiffy's pipes which sound great

this car was on the road up until about 8 months ago and has been on the scene for over 20 years in this state as a hotrod. i have owned it for almost 5 months but due to seperation i now need to get rid to buy a day to day car.

i have just spent a fortune on brand new inner and outer track rods (to be fitted) and brand new bottom arms which are fitted with new polly bushes. new edelbrock pan filter

the steering needs setting up, tracking and camber then it's ready for m.o.t. (horn needs re-fitting and the indicators have stopped working).

it needs a respray but included in the sale is a 10 litre already mixed tub of matt black paint so just prep and spray!

front suspension is avo coil over type. rear doors welded up to make a 2 door, all work including this, the engine fit and rear axle fit etc etc has been done proffesionally and has stood the test of time as it was done many years ago. when you look at what rods are available on here this represents great value for money and when painted with free tax and an mot on it it will command a price tag of around £4500-£5500 at any show this season (i am a member of NSRA and go to shows all over the country)

lots of welding was done for it's last m.o.t. so the car is solid, rear arches were replaced with what i think are escort arches (brand new). the car is very solid with no rot issues

a lot of money and time has gone into this car and for your money you get a lot of rod which needs very little work.

were it not for my sudden change in circumstance i would not sell this car but hey ho.

the engine is as sweet as a nut and the gearbox works fine, the power steering is not working as it needs a new seal but drives without it anyway. the brakes are excellent with a big servo fitted for extra power.

there are some spares in the boot also, bits n bobs
