This is in rare Floating Survival Light from WW2 (never been issued), possibly as early 1940 Battle of Britain.It is in near mint condition except for the small spot of light surface rust on the embossed crown. This small rust spot can be neutralised and left "as is" being original patina of 80 years of storage or removed completely. I had a few of these which I've sold over the past 30 years but this is definitely the last one and it still has some of the original tissue paper wrapping around it. Due to the passing of 80 years the rubber insulation on the wiring will no doubt be hardened and very brittle and fragile however I have no doubt it will still work since a few years back I have tested one. It takes 2 D cell batteries (not supplied)
