Annual Wildflower Cornfield seed mix - 20 grams (10m²)

A mix of native annual wildflower seeds, to create a cornfield effect in your garden. A Spring sowing will result in a flowery mead within 2-3 months. Sowing in Autumn will give an earlier display the following year.

Included are Corn Cockle, Cornflower, Corn Marigold, Corn Chamomile and Field Poppy. On suitable soils these will generally self seed in subsequent years.

This mix is also suitable for sowing in conjunction with our perennial meadow seed mixes. The quick growing annuals act as a 'nurse crop' for the slower perennials, reducing competition from weeds and adding colour.

Sowing Instructions:

Sow in Spring or Autumn direct into well prepared garden soil, at a rate of approximately 2 grams per square metre. Cornfield annuals will self-seed each year, providing the ground is cultivated in the autumn.

All seeds are freshly sourced from reputable suppliers, or collected from stock plants on the Nursery and stored under controlled conditions. The seeds we sell are the same seed we use to produce plants for sale (approximately 25% of our sales are from seed raised stock).

All the varieties we sell are garden-worthy plants. Most of the varieties we sell are easy to grow, given suitable conditions, and in most cases will produce good sized flowering plants within a few months or less.
