A unique asymmetrical sideboard hand-made in the late 1950s/early 1960s. The unusual profile and recessed handles echo the designs of Pierre Guariche. Fine-quality cabinetmaking throughout with neatly cut dovetail joints. Solid teak leg frames and chamfered edge detail. The main panels are finished with a rosewood pattern melamine. Two cabinets with double-doors on brass piano hinges each with a full=width shelf adjustable to four positions. Four drawers at the raised end; the upper drawer has cutlery dividers and is lined with a dark green baize.
