Here is a distinctive vintage Prinknash Pottery small vase created in red earthenware with a pewter luster glaze. The elegant shape is a gorgeous example of Prinknash’s fine craftsmanship and distinctive design.
The Prinknash Abbey Pottery was founded in 1942, when monks found a seam of clay while working on their building. Their pottery is typically made with red earthenware (usually with a metallic glaze). The monks continued to make pottery at the abbey in Granham, Gloucestershire until 1997 (when the pottery was sold to the Welsh Porcelain Company).
Measurements: Height: 3", Diameter: 2"
