VINTAGE IDEAL FACTORY COAT & BONNET

  FITS 17"-22" BABY OR SIMILAR DOLLS

In the next few weeks I will be listing many vintage dolls and doll clothes that belonged to me and my sisters, relatives, friends and from my own collection.  My house is just overloaded and I must clear out some of them.  Most are in very good but played with condition.  I have taken many photos but if you have any questions or would like to see additional photos please contact me.

An adorable vintage Ideal Factory Coat & Hat with the trademark Swirl Buttons.  I'm not sure who this belonged to but the style lends itself to fit many types and sizes of dolls.  It does have a small neck for some reason.  I used it on my 17" Bannister Baby but I couldn't button the top button so it should fit similar Baby dolls with a smaller neck or leave the button open!  It is also very cute on Toddler and Girl Dolls like 19-21" Toni and 20" Raving Beauty.  Very nice vintage candy stripe, heavy fabric I believe a rayon, in a soft red and white.  It has a fitted bodice, pointed collar, long sleeves and a full gathered skirt.  The collar, sleeves and bonnet are trimmed in vintage pink and blue braid.  It fastens in the front with three vintage Ideal white swirl design buttons. The hat has a wide brim that folds back around the face and is trimmed with the same pink & blue braid and ties with pink satin ribbon although one ribbon tie is missing and the other is frayed.  In excellent condition with no flaws except the hat ribbon ties need replaced.  Very well made in good clean condition with no odors.

BE SURE TO MEASURE YOUR DOLLS NECK AS THIS COAT HAS A SMALL NECK OPENING OF 6 1/2" WITH IT BUTTONED!

My 17" Bannister Baby, 20" Raving Beauty, 19" & 21" Toni dolls are modeling and not included in this sale.  They are for reference as to how this outfit would look on the different size & types of dolls.

Measures shoulder to shoulder 5 1/2", underarm to underarm 7", neck 6 1/2", shoulder to waist 5 1/4", waist 14", sleeve length 5 1/4" and shoulder to hem 11".  Bonnet measures around face 11 1/2" and across back 7-9 1/2" with the elastic stretched.

 This dress would be darling on baby and girl dolls and all similar dolls in the 17-22" size. Sold "As Is" with no returns.
