A stunning  vintage (1985)  18ct yellow gold half eternity ring   set  with seven  Diamond and Emerald  stones . 

 

Alternating round vibrant emeralds and sparkling round brilliant cut diamonds all beautifully claw set in 18ct yellow gold.

 

Each of the three round cut diamonds is 0.25 Ct – Total: 0.75 Ct and each of the four round cut Emeralds is 0. 25   Ct – Total  1 .0 Ct – Giving a Total Carat Weight (TCW) of  1 .75 Carats.

 

The diamonds are rated as a G on the International Diamond Colour Scale .

 

I still have the original receipt from when my father purchased the ring from Beaverbrooks in Stockport in 1992 (30 years ago) at the second-hand price of £525.00. More recently it was valued in 2012 at £1,200 by a respected jeweller .

Hallmark /Imprints :   Carries the Hallmarks of the Royal Crown  and  750 (18 Ct Gold   UK ) the Lions Head for the London Assay Office , an L for the year ‘1985’ and the Goldsmith’s Hall Mark of ‘DAS’ in an oblong. Unfortunately, despite much searching and effort I have not been able to successfully identify the Goldsmith which created this beautiful diamond and emerald eternity ring.

 

Condition:    Used ––  Very Good condition  –   th is half Eternity  ring  set with  seven  – diamond and emerald  stones   - is   in  very good con dition for  its  age   with just a few scuffs and  scratches on the  outer and  inner band commensurate with its age, 37 years old . 

 

The necessary Hall Marks for 18 Ct gold, London Assay Office and year mark of L for 1985 are clearly visible on the inner ring band. Likewise, the goldsmith’s mark of ‘DAS’ can be seen on the inner band, although the A has partly worn away.     P lease see  the  enlargeable  p hotos  which form a n integral  part of this condition report.
