Details A striking tea cup, saucer and tea plate trio, produced by Wileman & Co. under their Foley China trade name. It features an Arts and Crafts type design with panels of snowdrops between panels of narcissus/daffodil flowers, printed in purple. The design for the daisy shape - reg. no. 115510 - was registered in 1888 and the snowdrop pattern design - reg. no. 331958 - was registered in 1899.

Height of cup 2¼" / 5.8cm, saucer diameter 5½" / 14.2cm, 7 1/8" / 18cm. 
Condition   The cup has a tiny split where the handle joins the body which looks to be a manufacturing imperfection. There are also a couple of tiny specks in the glaze to the interior, again from manufacture. Otherwise the cup is fine, just a hint of age discolouration. The saucer has a star crack in the centre of the well, barely visible. The plate is in good condition with light wear and some rubbing to the rim gilding but free of glaze crazing, chips or cracks.
