Victorian Antique Welsh Costumes/Tea Party Cobalt Blue Porcelain Cream Jug

A sweet late 19thC porcelain/bone china milk/cream jug with a rich cobalt blue ground and a c-scroll handle, decorated with a colourful hand coloured 'welsh costumes' cartouche and gilding.

It is in mint/perfect used condition with no chips cracks stains fleabites crazing losses repairs or damage (the interior is also clean/mint). The base has no makers marks other than a number. The paintress was probably on piece work or the jug was completed on a friday afternoon, either way it passed through quality control without being 100% finished! (the hanging picture on the wall is unfinished, as is the chair back and tea service). There is some rubbing/loss to the gilding around the rim but little to the handle and cartouche border.
