This hand-made, hand painted dish has a distinctive shape and pearlescent glaze. It is in the embossed Blossom Bough pattern of blue flowers on a rose pink thumbprint background. It is in excellent condition for its age with no cracks, chips or restoration. There is some rubbing to the gilding on the top of the handles and some crazing visible under the base, but this does not break the surface. See photographs to confirm condition.

It has the Maling under glazed stamp together with the hand applied pattern number. There is also a painter’s mark.

Approximate size

4” in diameter (5” wide to include the handles) and 2.5” high. The base is just under 3” in diameter.

Weight 8 oz

The piece displays beautifully and would make a lovely addition to a collector’s cabinet. We may be able to despatch outside the UK please contact us to arrange carriage.
