This is a lovely Town House situated in the centre of the Medieval Market Town of Eymoutiers which is in itself steeped in history with many Historic buildings, but is also a great place to be based for exploring the rest of the Haute Vienne, The Creuse or Correze with it's beautiful unspoilt countryside and many lakes and forests. The largest lake in the Haute Vienne, Lac du Vassiviere, is only about a 10 minute drive away, here there are many sandy beaches from you can swim, there is all types of water sport and of course fishing.

The house is comprised of Living area and open plan kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, toilet, shower room and exceptionally large bedroom on the 1st floor, and large family bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one double and one single on the 3rd floor. There is a large loft (grenier) which is currently undeveloped but would add greatly to the house if developed.  There are many original features throughout and although the ground floor is tiled, the staircases are all original in oak and the rest of the house has retained it's original oak floors.  There is also a cellar (la cave) which houses the hot water.

There is no garden with the house, but if you know the Limousin you will know that there is no shortage of open spaces such as parks, lakes and countryside where you can picnic or just sit and enjoy the views. 

There is a square with parking  just at the top of the road about 50 metres away, free parking of course, or it is possible to park on the road nearby to the house.
