This fine antique Victorian sterling silver cream jug and sugar bowl have an oval can shaped form with concave corners.
The cream jug and sugar bowl are embellished with a broad band of stylised foliate decoration with additional bright cut engraved rose and leaf decorated designs incorporating a vacant oval scroll decorated cartouche to the majority of each body.
Each piece is fitted with plain handles featuring plain thumbpieces.
Both pieces retain the original gilded interior.

This antique cream jug and sugar bowl is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece are very clear.
