This was bought in India as a souvenir and kept on a shelf for the past 5 years. It's in excellent condition, only tool marks (supposed to be there) grace this unique piece. It is a marquis shape (oval pinched at both ends) and the spout is a little off-center, so it looks like an eye. This is for decoration, displayed to show its craftsmanship, because the carved-out area where liquid would go is very small -about 1/4" under the stopper -it could be used for a very small amount of oil or fragrance. Vial is 1.5" wide x 1.75" tall (with stopper). Sticker on bottom says: India. Great gift or addition to a stone or rock, items from India, or perfume bottle collection...
