A nice small longcase clock with superb quality quarter chiming movement. It is by Camerer Kuss of New Oxford Street, London. They were active there around 1880. The case is mahogany and very good quality and in good un-restored condition. The superb quality movement chimes the quarters on 4 gongs and the hours on a further gong. The smart brass dial has gilt spandrels, a seconds dial and the all-important strike/silent selector. It has original brass cased weights and heavy brass pendulum.
