Description
this is an extremely nice quality silver plated cream jug to half-reed design with scrolled handle and gilted interior, the base is marked as per fifth photo denoting the silversmiths as the illustrious William R.Deykin & Walter A.Harrison of Birmingham c.1895-1907, the interior is in a clean and bright vintage condition as is the exterior and this very handsome jug appears to have been hardly used so in our opinion, and opinion is subjective, there are NO major issues, as there are no dents or repairs, just normal surface scratches dings dimples and blemishes commensurate with age and use, but please look at photos to make up your own mind:
height: 3½"/9cms
length: 5¼"/13.3cms
width: 2 5/8"/6.6cms
We give this description to the best of our ability, as we see the item, we do not profess to be experts, however we are human and therefore not infallible. All our items are secondhand, used, and previously owned, and are not, by definition, in a pristine condition. If you have an issue with your purchase, because of a discrepancy with our description, or any inadvertent misrepresentation, then please just give us the chance to put the matter right as we have a 'no quibble' return policy, therefore it is totally unnecessary to send nasty messages or to leave negative or neutral feedback, both of which are not in the spirit of eBay anyway. We are quite prepared to offer a refund, on receipt of the returned item in the same condition and packaging within 7 days or receipt, if you are unhappy with your purchase because we really do appreciate your custom. Thank you.
Now for the 'Boring Bits' but PLEASE read them:
