SUPERB EARLY 19th c. GEORGIAN PERIOD ANTIQUE GILT DECORATIVE PICTURE FRAME

This is a superb gilt picture frame from the georgian period of the early 19th century.

Wonderful overall gilt decoration to the rectangular wooden picture frame.

Has an overall size of about 26 x 20.25inches.

Max depth of about 2.5inches.

Inner size at the rear of about 20.5 x 14.5inches. This is the very inner area but has another 1.5inches if required.

Condition: considering the age: the overall condition is:

very good with overpainting of the chipped areas with gilt.
