Jaguar XK8 4.0. British Racing Green Metallic. Leather Interior. Full Service History. MOT til Oct 24’. Currently on 125,000 miles which may increase as I may drive it next week.
The car rides and goes really well and comes in a great colour.
Electric front seats. CD autochanger. Good Continental Tyres all round. Al the usual jaguar XK8 refinements. Overall the paintwork looks really good. The headlining was replaced by the previous owner so looks good.
I bought the car at 60,000 miles and used it as my daily driver. I now have a new car as I do big mileage with my job and don’t want to pile any more miles on the Jag.
I have spent thousands on this car over the last 3 years to keep it on the best condition. I had the rust removed and sills repaired as soon as I bought the car and had everything else checked. Since then I’ve had a range of work done to the suspension and other areas including:
Front and rear wheel bearings
Gearbox replaced at 120,000
Front Discs and Pads at 120,000
Suspension upper and lower arms and suspension arm bushes
Replaced ABS sensor
Water pump
Service History
The car has a full service history and I have all of the invoices from 2017 and many invoices back to 2000. It’s mostly Jaguar main dealer history except for the last couple of years when N&S Autos Wakefield who are Jaguar specialists have looked after the car.

Faults
The electric ariel is now manual. There are some scratches in the nearside lower as in the photo. There are also some stonechips and other minor age related marks here and there. I’ve taken photos of the main areas. The reversing sensors don't work. And lastly there is a slow coolant leak from somewhere, but I just top it up every thousand miles or so and it’s fine. I've tried to be as transparent as possible here. The ABS light comes on sometimes even though we replaced the sensor at some cost. The car has some faults as you would expect from a 24 year old car.
All in all it’s been a good car for me and I will still happily drive it up and down the country.
