Pair of Maling pottery vase urns
A rare set of 2 stunning lustre Maling vases/urns in the 'storm pattern' with gilded handles and rim
These two would look beautiful displayed on a window cill or under a light, to reflect their almost ethereal style of colours and patterns
Good condition. No chips or cracks, some wear on gilding, and some surface marks commensurate with age

Maling pottery was produced in the north east of England for just over two centuries. The pottery was founded at North Hylton near Sunderland in 1762, and transferred to Newcastle upon Tyne in 1817
