Res Nova is a 1925 Luxemotor converted into a live aboard in the seventies and recently renovated. She is 50 foot long by 10 foot wide and she draws 3 foot making her big enough to live on board, yet small enough to be easily handled. She is lying in a fully residential marina in Gravesend within commuting distance of London. Ready to move onto immediately, this is not a project. We renovated her to our high standard for us to live on board and move to the French canals, but now our circumstances have changed, forcing us to sell her.
There is a double cabin aft and two V berths in a cabin forward. There is also a full length sofa in the saloon and a shorter sofa in the wheelhouse. The heads are fully enclosed with a shower, hand basin and pump out toilet with a new holding tank.
The new water heater and gas cooker are fed from a bottle mounted on the aft deck.
There is plenty of outside space for when the weather is nice and a 5kw Webasto diesel heater for the winter. There is also a wood burning stove in the saloon.
She is powered by a 110hp DAF engine with new batteries and charging system. She also has solar panels.
For more photos, details of all the work done on her including re-plating on the hull, a full, downloadable survey and links to the marina please go to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The surveyor valued her at £95000, but we will consider serious offers near our price.
The mooring can be transferred to the new owner subject to an interview with Chris who runs the marina. I can't imagine this would be a problem and would be done before anyone committed to buy her. The mooring fees are currently £300 per month including water and the first 100 units of electricity. Please contact us to arrange a viewing. Please view the website for loads more details.
Payment by cheque or bank transfer.
This is the first time we have sold anything on ebay, but we have a 100% buyer's record which you are welcome to have a look at.
