Lake View Cottage is a 3 bedroom bungalow set in 15 acres looking down over Rudyard Lake. With no immediate neighbours there is privacy and tranquility. A fantastic base for walking, fishing, cycling and sailing there is something for everyone. Formerly our family home for twelve years with our two Golden Retrievors, it is a dog lovers paradise. There is a large flagged patio area and decked veranda with Hot Tub looking down over the lake. There are two double bedrooms and a dormer bedroom with two single beds. There is a French Oak kitchen with Belfast Sink and Arga Style Cooker. The lounge has a log burning stove with TV/DVD/Video with doors leading on to the patio area. The main bedroom opens on to a conservatory with underfloor heating which in turn opens on to the decked patio area with 6 person hot tub. The large bathroom has a corner spa bath and a shower with speaker connected to the Hi Fi system. Whether you want to just relax, go walking with your dog fish or sail on the lake there really is something for everyone.

Surrounding Area
This is a perfect location for exploring the nearby Peak District, Potteries and Cheshire. Rudyard Lake provides plenty of boating activity and coarse fishing (permit required). In the care of the National Trust Little Moreton Hall(possibly Britains finest timber framed medieval moated manor house) and the glorious Biddulph Grange lie within a short drive whilst Alton Towers is only 15 miles and the stunning Chatsworth House 20 miles with the market town of Bakewell next door.
The market town of Leek is just four miles away which you can walk to without stepping foot on a road along the old railway track which runs alongside the lake. There are two pubs which serve excellent food and real ale aprox 1 mile away again these can be accessed by the old railway track,which is dead flat and ideal for cycling along.
