AD Coach House Cottage is in an area of outstanding beauty and history, the perfect place for a holiday or short break. It is a cosy and comfortable cottage being centrally heated throughout and with the added benefit of a multi fuel stove in the lounge. It also has a great pub within five minutes walk so you can venture outside and explore the local area, or cuddle up and enjoy the views. It has been awarded four stars by Quality in Tourism/English Tourist Board. The cottage started life as a coach house to nearby Draycott Hall. It was converted to a residence in the 1970’s and extended in 2005. The property has its own private parking and enclosed garden with separate bbq and patio area. The property has lots of original features including flagged floors, multi-fuel stove and exposed beams, while providing all the facilities you would expect from a modern holiday home including electric heating, flat screen wall mounted TV with DVD player, and multi media stereo system. It has a well equipped kitchen which features a touch operated hob. There is a useful separate utility room with washer and fridge-freezer. The bathroom has bath, an electric shower, and heated towel rail.
The cottage has three bedrooms, one of with a four-poster double bed, the second a double bed and the third adult bunk beds. The cottage sleeps up to six people. The cottage is decorated to a high standard throughout and has stunning views of Swaledale from nearly every window. There are excellent and varied walks from the doorstep and a mountain bike hire/repair shop within 2 minutes walk. Children are most welcome and a highchair, travel cot and stairgate is available on request. Please email us about pets- we usually say one well behaved dog welcome so long as they are kept off furniture and bedding. Sorry no smoking in the property. All electricity, a starter pack for the fire, bed linen and towels included . Keys to the property are accessed via a Keysafe located at the property so you can arrive when you want after the check in time of 3pm. The cottage has a local housekeeper and manager who will do all she can to make your stay an enjoyable one. This is a perfect base for exploring the Dales and making your holiday a memorable one, be it a quiet romantic break or family holiday.
