Wormhill is a small farming village found to the north of Chee Dale and west of Tideswell in the Peak District. Once part of the Royal Forest of the Peak, the village is now a peaceful haven for walkers, mountain bikers and those wishing to get away and explore the Peak District. The beautiful little village is centred around the village green with an old church and majestic hall. The village is steeped in history and has a number of paths and tracks heading off in all directions, providing access to some of the most popular and picturesque Derbyshire Dales including Millers Dale, Chee Dale, Peter Dale, Monks Dale and Hay Dale.
The Cow Shed is a Grade II detached former cow barn which has been imaginatively converted creating an pretty and spacious open plan studio, all on ground floor level. The cottage is located in the grounds of the owner's home is this small hamlet, only 1.5 miles from Millers Dale and 3 miles from Tideswell and Peak Forest.
The cottage has oil fired central heating and comprises: Open plan lounge/kitchen/bedroom with TV, DVD player and selection of DVDs and books. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and dining area. Double bed in the lounge area. Shower room with hand basin and WC.
All oil, electric, bed linen and towels included. Cot available. Private parking. Garden with garden furniture and fruit and vegetable garden and BBQ for guests' use in season. Equestrian facilities are available on request.
