VINTAGE Iridescent Lustre Bowl Dish Plate Maling England BEAUTIFUL DECOR BLOSSOM.
Cream plate with iridescent sheen, pink flowers and green leaves.
Absolutely beautiful decorative plate/dish with a fantastic iridescent glaze which absolutely shines when sat in the sunlight. The photos I can take on my phone simply do not do this piece justice! This piece is in good used condition but does have some minor age related imperfections such as crazing, a few small marks and one very small chip to the underside of the base (next to the makers mark). I have done my best to show this item from every angle so that you can zoom in where needed to ensure you are happy with its condition before purchasing.
The piece features beautiful floral blossoms and leaves on either end and a iridescent/Perlescent sheen on both the top and underside of the dish/plate. The only part that does not have this glaze is the base that it is sat on. The item is marked Making England. From my research I believe this piece to be from the 1930's, however I cannot be certain of this. However, as production of Maling pottery stopped in the 1960's, this piece is at least 50-60 years old!
