Early Victorian mahogany three-section tea caddy of sarcophagus shape, resting on squat bun feet. The fitted interior has the original lids and a large glass mixing bowl with a disc foot base and fluted petal rim. The key escutcheon is inlaid with brass. Lovely example of English craftsmanship with warm and deep patination to the wood.

Good antique condition. Small losses and tiny chips to the exterior veneer; some wear to the interior commensurate with age and use; some cracks to the front of the caddy and to the central section of the lid; age-related scratches and wear to the base.
