ANTIQUE / VINTAGE MALING LUSTRE WARE GREEN LONG OVAL BOWL / DISH. Made by Maling in Newcastle-On-Tyne between 1924 and 1948. In good condition.  There is some rubbing to the gilt line and decorations. Primula design in rarely available green and black colourway. Oval in shape. Green lustre finish of overlapping circles with nice glossy glaze. Gilt line around rim. Glossy black handles with gilt decoration. Border inside bowl of pink and yellow primulas on a black and white band. Printed underneath in black  with a castle symbol surrounded by a circle and:  MALING    NEWCASTLE-ON TYNE    MADE IN ENGLAND.    Handpainted underneath with:  6402.
