An antique Early American Pressed Glass vase. A solid bottom clear glass antique vase C1900. This pattern graduates from bold to fine. The pattern is a graduated cubist diamond with fine beading on either side of the panels. The base has a rayed star pattern imprinted on the bottom.

It weighs a lot for a small vase 13 ounces. The bottom of the vase is solid glass for 3" up from the bottom. From the top to the solid part it measures 4". I'm not sure why they fill the bottoms of these vases like this, maybe so they can display short stem flowers in a long stem vase. If you look very closely at the base you can see 4 lines extending upwards in to the long beaded lines of the pattern. They are light and almost impossible to see further up. It measures  7 1/2" high and 3 1/4" across the base and 3 1/4" across the top.
