Vintage Carlton Ware Rouge Royale  Coffee Set  A fabulous opportunity to own this stunning Coffee Set produced by the renowned Carlton Ware.  Famous during the 1920’s for their Art Deco lustre wares, Carlton introduced the Rouge Royale range in the 1940’s and continued production into the early 1970’s.  This fantastic set comprises of a most elegant coffee pot, creamer, lidded sugar bowl and 6 dainty coffee cups and saucers.  This set is glazed in an opulent deep cranberry colour and complimented with the addition of a gold gilt on the interior of the cups and rims of each piece.  The Art Deco influence is reflected in the graceful design and curved shape as well as the little shell-shaped handles. This set is in good vintage condition commensurate to its age, free from cracks and chips.  The gold gilt is a little worn in places on one cup and one saucer has a few surface scratches. A little crazing is visible on the underside base of several pieces. These minor blemishes do not detract from the overall appeal of this Carlton Ware.  Please look carefully at the pictures as they form part of the description.
