We are happy to offer for your consideration a comtoise morbier clock from France. Made in the Jura region of France, this wonderful grandfather clock was produced over 100 years ago. Included in this auction are the face the surround and the clock box with all the mechanisms. (everything pictured)


We have not tested this clock but it was working before it was decommission. We assume that it will need to be serviced before it is put back into service.


The box measures 11“ x 11“ x 6“. The face around is 19 inches tall.


The clock has one hammer. The face has a repaired face and no hands. The inside mechanism of the clock is very clean. The brass surround will need some remolding. The bell on top is not original to the clock.

The frame is missing one of its side doors.
