CARVED SOAPSTONE CARD or COIN DISH w HAND DECORATED ELEPHANT DETAIL #6203

Heavy hand carved and decorated pin dish or coin or card tray with the picture of an elephant in the bush with three upright carved elephants to the rear of the dish. It is believed to be made of polished and carved soapstone and is very tactile. It measures approximately 5.875” by just under 4”  and the row of elephants to the rear stands at about 0.75” high.  Good used or vintage condition (exact age unknown) and believed to be African in origin.  Weighs about 300g.
