Seller: cacalafacci ✉️ (1,140) 100%, Location: Easton, Maryland, US, Ships to: WORLDWIDE, Item: 171402092402 BACH / BUNDY in immaculate shape. Closet classic / toys from the attic dept. Re-list, due to non-paying Int'l bidder that did not understand the reality of overseas shipping fees. __________________________________________ This is an outstanding example of a rare BACH / Bundy fleügelhorn.   Serial-number 6865xx Do your own research, regarding the brand name, and model.  If you are a horn-player, you will likely believe everything you read on the internet ☺.      I have had the horn in my possession for about a dozen-years.   Constant conversation piece.  Everyone marvels at the appearance ... as well as the sound.   (the horn ... not me)    This horn was well cared for ... &/or not played a great deal, in my opinion.   Valve-slides exhibit desirable pop when pulled; indicating excellent compression.   All slides and caps remove and go back on, as expected.   As mentioned in headings, the improper valve-buttons are shown in the photo-images.   I neglected to notice, until after I had the photos shot.   You will get the proper, original ones.   They are not gold-plated, like the ones pictured. This horn is virtually identical to the BACH Model-182, of which I have had a couple.   I have had four of these Bundy models (they also appeared in all-brass).   The differences:  the BACH has a 3rd-slide stop-rod assembly ... and (often) a 1st-slide thumb-hook.   The BACH has a water-key on the tuning-slide.   The BACHs never were offered (to my knowledge) in nickel-plate, as this one.   Silver, yes ... nickel, no.   The SAME valves (ML) were on both horns.   Yes.   Same valve-cluster assembly.   The BACH has a different mouthpiece receiver. I could not ... nor, others with "good ears" ... tell the difference, sonically, between the BACHs and the Bundys.   They all feel  the same, playing-wise. Hard to go wrong on this one.   Will retain value ... likely, increase over time.   Seldom seen in this fine condition.   Unique collector's item.  No mouthpiece, no lyre, no pull-ring, no case.    $32 shipping to 48 States.   USPS rates recently were increased.   Hawaii and Alaska extra.  Overseas shipping based on Postal-Code.  Parcel will be insured.   Extra packaging materials used for overseas shipping.   Five (5) business days handling-time, may be needed.   5-day auction ....  International bidding welcomed.   Spend  ¥, ₤, €, ₣, $, ₦, ₯, ₭, ฿, ₧, ₡, ¤, ₠, etc. here.   Some restrictions apply.   Inquire, please.  I may void bids from certain countries.   Several recent sales to International eBay'ers, with very satisfactory result.   Overseas shipping: await my invoice.
  • Condition: Used
  • Condition: ** Collector Alert ** (Players, too ☺): There is probably SOME flaw on this horn ... but, I am not seeing it. Therefore; I shall describe it as being 99%. (Nothing is perfect ... right?). The only thing different, from what is shown in photo-images ... and what you (the winning bidder) receive ... is the finger-buttons. I installed a special set of lightweight, gold-plates buttons for my personal preference in playing. These will be removed, and replaced by the originals. I neglected to do that for the photo-shoot.
