Description:- Antique Early 19th Century Large 1.5kg Copper & Brass Kettle - Castellated Seam
Copper main body with tinned interior. The frame of the handle and knob to the lid are brass, top of handle is copper. Rivets holding the handle to the main body are copper.
The back seam is Castellated - see photo 5
This would look lovely on a dresser in a cottage or farmhouse style kitchen
Condition:- Overall good Antique Condition; there area couple of bumps to the main body (see photos 1 & 9) and there is a knock to the spout and what appears to be a split ( see last 2 photos). The kettle needs a proper polish
Maker:- Unbranded but my estimate is early to mid 19th Century British.
Measures:- Approx 11.5 inches from tip of spout to opposite edge of main body by approx 7 inches width to top of main body by approx 11.25 inches or so to the top of the handle.
I've not checked capacity as I assume this will be display only
