                     DESCRIPTION:

For your appreciation I have this imposing, good-looking bust of Napoleon I in Polychrome pottery. He wears medals on his chest and a laurel wreath on his head.

This antique piece is  a French Aprey faience and dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. 

Ir has the Hand-painted red monogram to base which  "APJ" ,  or could be "ARG" , as shown Condition with restoration to the stem and a couple of tiny chips one on the tip of the nose and second one on the corner of the base.

There is crazing which can be expected from a piece that is more than a hundred years old.

Some discolouration to the painting but this is not excessive.
