ANTIQUE EMBROIDERED PICTURE

Here is an interesting antique frame enclosing an embroidered picture .

The picture shows flowers in a Jacobean style.

The picture measures approx. 27 x 19 ins.

It is probably more than 100 years old.

 The condition of the material is unknown as it has not been seen outside the frame, but it has some marks on it.

 The frame itself needs attention. The back of the frame is made of wood, but the front could be plaster. There is some damage to one corner and it shows white underneath. The corners are also slightly damaged.

Beautiful old frame, could hold a mirror, and/or painted gold or silver.
