Hand carved from sustainable solid Acacia / Samanea Saman Merr wood in Northern Thailand. They are
sanded smooth, detail is then picked out and finished off with 3 coats of wax and polished.

Acacia / Samanea Saman wood is also known as Monkey Pod or Rain tree. They are a moderately fast growing tree that is used in agroforestry as a shade or shelter tree for crops and can also be seen along many roadsides.
It is prolific in many countries and invasive in some. It is harvested/ replanted on a regular basis.

The more you polish the better they look –As each item is hand carved, often by a different artisan they will all be individual and sizes and features may vary slightly.

An ideal gift for a family member or friend on any occassion.

RETURNS POLICY:

If you are unhappy with your purchase /our description or in the unlikely event receive it damaged please follow these instructions. Damages - inform us by email ASAP with details (but within 3 days of receipt) - and then send a Digital picture showing the problem. We will either then send out a replacement or refund. Depending on value/problem we may require receipt of item before sending replacement. Other returns email within 3 days and we will arrange collection. Refund is only made on receipt. Under no circumstances return items yourself - We will have collected/tracked and insured at our cost. We will not refund postage if you use your own carriers.
